There were a remarkable number of nominees this year, including Frank Abbato (incumbent), Carroll Bassett, Jerry Bowen, Rich Geisler, Mike Oatney, George Phillips, Ed Saugstad, Bob Thren, and John Tudek.

A total of 175 ballots were sent out, and 127 members returned their votes!  That's a 73% return rate, well above the average in national elections, and eclipsing the turnout for NSS elections.  We are thankful for all our members' interest and involvement.

Those who won the three director seats were Frank Abbato, Carroll Bassett, and Ed Saugstad.  They will begin their 9-year terms in January.

In addition, at the Board of Directors meeting on Sunday, Frank Abbato was elected President, and John Pearson was elected to fill Frank's former position as Secretary.  Vice-President Susi Weston and Treasurer Bob Hoke were reelected.
