Banquet Speaker: Nikki Fox will speak about the search for the main drain to Greenbrier County’s Davis Spring. Since the 1960s cavers have been trying to find the elusive main drain for Davis Spring — a 73-square-mile drainage basin in Greenbrier County, W.Va. Many geologists have written papers on it and numerous more have theorized on where exactly this mysterious master trunk stream is flowing underground. In 2016 Nikki Fox found a passage that led to Sweetwater River, part of this massive underground system. This project has been ongoing since the discovery with a small core crew of seven committed explorers that have surveyed well over six miles of passage.
Silent Auction: There will be the traditional Silent Auction at the banquet. Donations are welcome, or bring money to bid on the many treasures.
Menu: Chicken Breast Marsala, Prime Rib at a carving station, and Vegetable Lasagna. Vegetables will be Roasted Red Potatoes, Vegetable Medley and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Choice of two salads, Garden and Pasta. For dessert: Cheesecake and Chocolate Mousse. Beverages will be coffee, ice tea, water.
Directions: Take I-64 to Exit 169 (US 219 and Lewisburg). Head south toward Lewisburg and turn left at the first traffic light at Shoney’s. The Quality Inn is on the right after one block.

• Reservations must be received by Tuesday, November 6. Reservations are required so we know how much food to order. There will be no ‘at the door’ meal tickets available.
• There will be a cash bar from 5-7 PM. After the bar closes guests may (discreetly) bring adult beverages to consume with dinner.
